For a lunch date, church or a spontaneous meeting: some things have to go with me. As a seasoned “What’s In My Bag” viewer on Youtube, today I give you a written version of what I always carry with me.
Beauty essentials
- Lipgloss: I always have Burt’s Bees lip balm in my pocket, a lipgloss from Kiko “3D Hydra 17” and a lipgloss from Fenty “Hot Chocolit Heat”. The lipliner from MAC “Chestnut” is also always in my bag.
- Beauty Queen Mirror: A small but indispensable item in my bag. Perfect for quick check-ups like wiping the breadcrumbs from your mouth because you eat so elegantly #Charming. Luckily, this mirror makes those less charming check-ups very cute with its baby pink color.

- Royalty Scrunchie: This has replaced the standard elastic band in my bag. It's much softer for your hair because of the satin fabric and your hair gets less tangled. And a scrunchie is just much cuter.
- Earrings: Just in case I forget to put them on at home. Without earrings I feel naked, so with an extra pair in my bag I don't have to feel naked.
- Make-up items: Mini mascara, creamy eyeshadow and a mini perfume.

Cardholder: I used to carry a wallet that could basically also be used as a clutch. Now small is nice and I traded it in for the Queenhood Leather Cardholder. Everything you need fits in it — bank card, ID, business cards, public transport card and it also has a slot where you can put cash. Just right.
Snacks: Because I love you, I make sure you don't have to meet me hangry. I keep a protein bar in my bag to prevent that. Tip for foodies: buy a snack that you don't really like. That way you'll be less tempted to eat it at home while you're lying on the couch and the purpose of the snack is missed. #TalkingToMyPeople I also usually have chewing gum and mini candies in my bag.
Phone and Earphones: They're mainly used to listen to podcasts when you're on the go.
Personal Care Items:
- Sanitary pads because “IIIII’M EVERYY WOMANNNN”. Well, mainly just a woman. And sometimes you are unexpectedly reminded of it.
- Tissues: Sometimes I have an unsolicited name change and instead of Quinsaira Hooi, I am called Quinsaira Hay Fever. To be able to catch sneezing fits and/or watery eyes, tissues are an essential.
- Hand sanitizer: 2020 learned us all..
- Hand cream and Vaseline: Based on my hands you would think that I don't drink water (I actually drink about 2 liters of water a day 😩) so hand cream is a must. I mainly use Zwitsal because my skin is super sensitive and can't handle every cream. I also have Vaseline with me in case my skin is damaged and could use some extra protection.
- Toothpick: This is often used together with my Beauty Queen Mirror to pick away that bit of food stuck between my teeth #AgainCharmant.
