My personal ode to Boscoe Holder, born Arthur Aldwyn Holder in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, was Trinidad and Tobago's leading modern painter. He also had a celebrated international career as a designer, visual artist, dancer, choreographer and musician. Serene is part of the Boscoe Beauties, a series of recreated artworks based on Boscoe Holder's work. Serene, the name that means “calm”, fits perfectly with the artwork and the person who will be decorating her home.
